Former slavery victim Simon DengAt age 9, south Sudan native Simon Deng was abducted into slavery. For two years, he endured backbreaking labor and constant abuse at the hands of his masters before making his escape. Now, he lives in the United States and is a charismatic speaker and activist, raising awareness of slavery in Sudan and inspiring Americans to take action.
