Our primary goal is to start up a non profit organization to benefit ex felons re-entering society.
Some of those who are released dont have their families or friends anymore so it is hard for them to get started on the right track. I know if given the right opportunity from people who are willing to look past their criminal background, these individuals can finally succeed in life and move on to the next chapter in their life which they have been missing since they have been away.
We cannot change the PAST, but we can better the FUTURE for some of these ex felons.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to provide a smooth transition for ex felons to survive in society without resorting back to crime and violence.
Our plan is to provide the essential resources and guidance to facilitate the rehabilitation of the ex offender by offering food, clothing, temporary housing, transportation, educational programs, career training and job placement services. This will be done in collaboration with The Department of Corrections, detention centers and dcf. We will also strive to improve public awareness and to dispel the myths and negative public image towards ex convicts especially as it relates to offenders that are youth.
Our sole purpose is to make a difference by reaching out to those who deserve the second chance at success in life. In doing this, we hope to help them to become contributing members of society and restore some form of normalcy in their lives.
